Tallulah Gorge State Park

Tallula Gorge known as the "Niagara of the South"
is truly a beautiful place. Located off of Hwy. 441 it is
the border of Habersham & Rabun counties. It was one of the most popular tourist attractions in the southeast before it was damned in the late 1800's, it's still a great place to visit on a trip as Hwy. 441 will take you straight up to the Wheels Through Time Museum & some of the pretiest views you'll find. It was also home to the scene in Deliverance where John Voght climbs out of the gorge of the fictional Culawahassee River. It's places like this that makes me glad to be from Georgia.
